25 | On 9/29/21 at 2:16pm, Licensing Program Analyst Briana Plumboy, met with licensee Mary Riddle for an UNANNOUNCED REQUIRED ANNUAL INSPECTION. Present for this visit was fingerprint clear and associated assistant Savannah Riddle, 1 infant, 4 preschool age children, and 4 school age children. The home was toured to conduct a Health and Safety Inspection. The licensee operates the facility Monday through Friday from 7:00am until 6:00pm.
The home is single story. The home appears to be neat and clean with heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. The OFF LIMIT AREAS are the master bedroom, 2 bedrooms, garage, and right side of the backyard which will be inaccessible by closed and/or locked doors and visual supervision. The ISOLATION AREA will be the living room. The BACKYARD is fenced. There are toys and learning materials. There are no pools, hot tubs or any other bodies of water present in the on limit areas during today's inspection. All hazardous materials and toxins are kept out of the reach of children and it was observed that there are no toxins or hazardous items accessible to children in care during today's inspection.
The home has a fully charged 2A10BC fire extinguisher, working smoke detector, working carbon monoxide detector, working telephone, and First Aid Kit. The licensee and present assistant's CPR and First Aid certificates are current and expire 6/13/22. The licensee's mandated reporter training is complete and she received a certification of completion on 8/9/21, and assistant Savannah Riddle completed her training on 8/15/21. There are no wall heaters or fireplaces. Per licensee, there are no firearms in the home. The last fire and disaster drill documented was 7/12/21.
1 Child file was reviewed due to their being no new children in care except the one who is a sibling within the last 3 years, facility roster reviewed and copy obtained. The licensee is in ratio today. All REQUIRED forms are posted and visible for public review.
