On July 21, 2022 at 8:45am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Indira Loza arrived at the facility to conduct an unannounced Annual inspection. The infant center was inspected to conduct a health and safety check. LPA Loza met with Director Shawinder Brar. There were 15 Infants present and were supervised by 8 fingerprint cleared staff. The teacher/child ratio was being met today. There is a preschool component on the property with facility number 013416485. The operating hours are Monday-Friday 8am-6pm.

The day care operates out of two portable classrooms in the back side of the building. The furniture, equipment and activities appear to be age appropriate for the children in care. The heating and lighting is adequate. LPA Loza observed bottled waters available for the infants. The changing table is within arms reach of the sink. LPA did not observe cleaning supplies or toxic items accessible to children during todays inspection. Lunches are brought from home and two snacks are provided by the center. The facility has appropriate napping equipment for napping children. The outside play area is a shared space with the preschool which is fenced in. LPA observed an outdoor wavier for the shared space, center is to make sure the children are outside at different times. LPA observed a shaded area and age appropriate toys, that appear to be in good repair. All required documents are posted for public review. Disaster drills are being conducted at least once every 6 months, the last drill was recorded on March 22, 2022. The center is equipped with a fully stocked first aid kit, working cell phone, carbon monoxide detector located in the main area of the day care, fire system is hardwired and there is one 3A40BC fire extinguisher in each classroom. LPA reviewed 12 infant records and 7 staff files. No IMS is being provided as of now. There is a staff member with current CPR during all hours at the day care. The Isolation area is the staff lounge.
