25 | On June 22, 2023, at 2:10 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Elimika Woods met with the facility representative Chanvanny Seng for an Unannounced Required 1 Year Inspection. LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection and was granted entry into the facility by the representative. Present during the inspection were five (5) preschool age children and one (1) infant child. The hours of operation are Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
LPA toured the facility inside and outside to conduct a Health and Safety inspection. This single story home was clean and orderly, with heating and ventilation for the safety and comfort of children in care. The Isolation area of the home will be a section of the living room, away from other children in care.
The off-limits are will be made inaccessible by closed and/or locked doors and visual supervision. LPA did not observe any hazardous materials or toxins accessible to children during today’s inspection. There are no pools, hot tubs or any other bodies of water present in the on-limit areas during today's inspection
The home has a dual working smoke and carbon monoxide detector, first aid kit, telephone, and a fully charged 3A40BC fire extinguisher which meets standards established by the State Fire Marshal. There’s a fireplace in the living room that has a barricade to prevent access by children. Per representative, there are no firearms in the home. LPA asked the representative does the licensee transport children and the representative stated that the licensee transports children from the school across the street.
On-limit-areas are the: Living room, family room, hallway bathroom, bedroom to the right of hallway, kitchen and nook area, backyard
Off-limit-areas are the: Shed in backyard, front bedroom to the left of hallway bathroom
