25 | On 05/26/2021, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Brittany Newton conducted an unannounced case management visit for the purpose of inspecting the auxiliary play yard to add it on for use on a continual basis rather than as needed. LPA was met by Denice Catching. Present for the inspection was 0 children.
A report from an inspection done on 02/01/2011 stated the following regarding the play yard:
"There is an auxiliary yard that will be shared between the preschool program and the infant program, as needed only. The children from both programs must not co-mingle at any time. The auxiliary yard measures 1,081.2 square feet which allows for 14 children at any one time."
LPA inspected the play yard and found it to be sufficient for use for children with no hazards present. Facility advised LPA that once they are fully reopening the area will be deep cleaned to ensure a check for hazards and safety. Facility plans to reopen in July.
The play yard is not accessible to the public.
The facility can now use the auxiliary play yard on a continual basis once they are reopened. LPA reminded facility that commingling of programs is not allowed at any time in the play yard. LPA reminded facility of use of disinfection practices.
Exit interview conducted and a copy of this report was left with Denice Catching.
