13 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kassandra Medrano conducted an unannounced inspection to deliver the findings of a complaint investigation regarding the above-referenced allegations. Upon arrival, LPA Medrano met with Site Director, Maria Duarte to discuss the outcome of the investigation.
The complaint alleged that staff members were yelling at and speaking inappropriately to children in care. Based on observations, a review of relevant records, and interviews conducted during the investigation, there was insufficient evidence to substantiate the allegations. Therefore, the allegation is deemed unsubstantiated at this time. Meaning the allegations may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
Exit interview conducted and a copy of this report and appeal rights were reviewed and provided to Director, Maria Duarte.Notice of Site visit was observed to be posted and shall remain posted for 30 days.
No deficiencies were issued today under Title 22 Division 12 of the California Code of Regulations or Health and Safety Code.
