25 | On 11/10/2021 at 9:00am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jaylena Miller, met with licensee Preeti Sharma for an UNANNOUNCED ANNUAL REQUIRED INSPECTION. Present for the inspection were fingerprint cleared and associated assistant and licensee husband and 8 daycare children, and the licensee is within ratio today. Upon arrival LPA provided licensee a copy of form LIC 126. The home was toured to conduct a Health and Safety Inspection. The facility currently operates Monday-Friday 7:30am-6:00pm
The home is a two-story home with 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, living room, family room, kitchen, dining room, laundry room, garage and back yard. The second level includes the master bedroom and bathroom, three bedrooms, bathroom and laundry room. The first level includes one bedroom used for daycare, one full bathroom used for daycare children, family room, living room, kitchen and dining area. The living room does have a gas fireplace, per licensee the gas is turned off but LPA observed a waiver for the fireplace present in the facility file. LPA observed the home to be neat and clean with central heating and ventilation for safety and comfort.
The OFF-LIMIT AREAS are the entire second floor and garage, and will be inaccessible to children by locked doors, safety gates and visual supervision.
The ON-LIMIT AREAS are the entire first level including the bedroom, bathroom, family room, living room, kitchen and dining area. The designated isolation area will be family room. The backyard will be a designated outdoor play area that is fully fenced. The outdoor area has age appropriate toys and furnishings that LPA observed to be clean and free from defects and dangerous conditions.
All hazardous materials and toxins are kept out of reach from children and are not accessible. The home has a fully charged fire extinguisher 2A-10-BC, working smoke detector, carbon monoxide, telephone and fully stocked first aid kit. There are no pools, hot tubes or any other bodies of water present at the time of the inspection. Per licensee, there are no firearms on the premises.
