| This facility provides Incidental Medical Services – IMS. LPA reviewed storage of medication and equipment/supplies, and reviewed children’s, personnel, and administrative records. During inspection LPA informed licensee that Nebulizer Care Consent form was needed for atleast one child in care. LPA also reminded licensee that all required medications for any children should be in original packaging with expiration date available.
Licensee Letecia Aleman was informed of the MyChildCarePlan.org website; a consumer education website that helps families obtain childcare by connecting them to childcare providers and Resource and Referral Agencies (R&Rs) throughout California.
LPA reminded the licensee that the mandated reporter training is required for all staff and is to be renewed every 2 years at www.mandatedreporterca.com.
During the exit interview, the LICENSEE Letecia Aleman, confirmed that there are no Registered Sex Offenders living in the facility and LPA completed the RSO profile in FAS.
During inspection LPA observed that atleast one infant in care was missing their file at the facility. LPA reminded licensee that each child in care must have required forms on file readily available for the department to review.
Based on observation, interview and record review there were 2 deficiencies cited today. Please see 809-D for deficiencies. Licensee was also provided with technical advisories as a reminder that children's files should be complete upon enrollment, and regarding infant safe sleep requirements.
Appeal Rights were provided to licensee for review.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
