32 | LPA investigated the complaint. It was clear in photos provided by the reporting party that children were left alone in the daycare and at times the licensee’s children were also present. It is not clear is the amount of time the children were alone, although they were unattended.
Since licensees are not required to have visual supervision 100% of the time and the LPA could not confirm the licensee leaves the children unattended for inordinate periods of time, the complaint has been deemed unsubstantiated. By definition: Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation(s) did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
An exit interview was conducted with licensee Dana Wilson and a Notice of Site Visit was issued and must be posted for 30 days.
