25 | On 4/11/2022 at 11:00am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Morgan Pringle met with Licensee Maria Napoli for an Unannounced Annual Inspection. Present during the inspection was the Licensee, two (2), assistants, Rosa Padilla and Alexandra Catano, nine (9) preschool age children and three (3) infants. Licensee’s home was toured for a health and safety inspection. The facility operates 8:00am – 6:00pm, Monday - Friday.
ON LIMITS AREA: Living Room & Family Room (used for the preschoolers), Downstairs Bathroom, Bedroom on Left side of the Entry Way (used for infants), and portion of the Backyard
OFF LIMITS AREA: Master Bedroom, 2nd Bedroom on 1st Floor and portion of Backyard
ISOLATION AREA: Living Room
The facility is a single-story home owned by the Licensee. The inside and outside of the home were observed to be neat, clean with ample age appropriate materials for the children. All toxins, cleaning products, medications, and hazardous materials were observed to be in inaccessible areas. Licensee has stated that there is one (1) properly stored (1) firearm and one (1) cat in the home.
The home has one (1) fully charged 3A40BC fire extinguisher in the downstairs bedroom. There is a working carbon monoxide detector in the family room and one (1) working smoke detector in the bedroom. There is a jacuzzi in the back yard that is properly fenced and is in compliance with the Title 22 regulations making it inaccessible to the children in care.
The Licensee’s Health and Safety training has been completed. Pediatric CPR and First Aid training has been completed and expires 3/31/2023. Licensee’s Mandated Reporter training is current and expires 3/25/2024. All required forms are posted and visible for public view by the front door. Fire/disaster drill log is complete with the last drill logged 12/6/2021. LPA obtained the children’s files and facility roster. All files were complete. |
