25 | On 04/07/2022 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Arminder Singh met with Licensee, Chaya Alperowitz for an unannounced random annual inspection. During visit, Licensee's Daughter was also present. There were no today due to spring break. Records of three children (C1-C3) were reviewed and are complete. The home was toured to conduct a health and safety inspection. The Licensee's hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 8:30AM-5:30PM.
LPA toured the indoor space of the home. The home is a double story home with an attached garage. The home consists of two Living room, Kitchen, Dining Room, Four (4) Bedrooms, Three (3) Bathrooms, front yard, and Backyard.
IN USE AREAS: Both Living rooms, Kitchen, Dining area, Bathroom located in Living room near front of home front yard, and Backyard.
OFF LIMIT AREAS: Entire second floor, kitchen and garage.
The home is sanitary, safe and orderly, with central heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. LPA observed required Postings on the wall. There is a non-functional fireplace in the Living Room. LPA observed: fully charged 2A10BC fire extinguisher, working smoke and carbon monoxide detectors all over the home. Medicines, cleaning products, sharp objects are stored inaccessible to children in cabinets and out of reach of children. A gate is securely installed near the right of the kitchen that prevents children to have access to the off limit areas. LPA reminded Licensee that smoking, baby walkers, bouncers, jumpers and similar items are not allowed in family child care homes. Licensee state there are no pets in the home. Licensee states there are no firearms and ammunition stored in the home. |
