25 | On December 7, 2022, at 10:35 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Elimika Woods met with Licensee Xochitl Gonzalez for an Unannounced Required 1 Year Inspection. LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection and was granted entry into the facility by the licensee. Present during the inspection was the licensee's fingerprint cleared assistants Ana Ochoa-Quintero and Dulce Moreno. There were eight (8) preschool age children and two (2) infants present during the inspection. The licensee stated that the facility operates from Monday to Friday 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
LPA toured the facility to conduct a Health and Safety inspection. This single story home was clean and orderly, with heating and ventilation for the safety and comfort of children in care. The Isolation area will be the hallway area, away from other children in care.
On- Limit areas are the: Kitchen, living and dining room, backyard, and bathroom
Off- Limit areas are the: All bedrooms, shed in side-yard, garage
The off-limits are will be made inaccessible by closed and/or locked doors and visual supervision. The kitchen has a barricade to prevent access by children. There are no pools, hot tubs or any other bodies of water present in the on-limit areas during today's inspection. There are ample age appropriate toys that appear to be safe and in good condition. LPA did not observe any hazardous materials or toxins accessible to children during today’s inspection.
The home has a fully charged 2A10BC fire extinguisher, pull down fire alarm system, working smoke detector, working carbon monoxide detector, first aid kit, and telephone. There’s a fireplace that has a barricade to prevent access by children in the livingroom. Per licensee, there are no firearms in the home. The licensee is in compliance with the immunization laws which pertains to all childcare providers.
