25 | On 6/27/23 at 9:45am, Licensing Program Analyst Briana Plumboy, met with licensees Saraswathi Gurrala for an UNANNOUNCED REQUIRED 1 YEAR RANDOM INSPECTION. Present for this visit was 2 infants, 5 preschool age children, and licensees fingerprint clear and associated assistants Rama Rani and Nelofer Sadozai, and fingerprint clear and associated mother Samrajyamma Gurrala. The home was toured to conduct a Health and Safety Inspection. The facility currently operates Monday through Friday from 7:00am until 7:00pm.
The home is a 2 story home. The home is neat and clean with heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. The ON LIMIT AREAS are the living room, bathroom, the daycare room in the back room of the home, and a portion of the backyard. The OFF LIMIT AREAS are the dining room, the kitchen, the garage, the laundry room, and the entire 2nd level of the home which will be inaccessible by closed and/or locked doors and visual supervision. There is a gate at the bottom of the stairs to prevent access to the 2nd story of the home. There is a gate barricading the on limit daycare rooms and daycare bathroom from the off limit dining room and kitchen. The ISOLATION AREA will be the living room. The BACKYARD play area is completely fenced. There are toys and learning materials present during today's inspection. There are no pools, hot tubs or any other bodies of water present during today's inspection. All hazardous materials and toxins are kept out of the reach of children and it was observed that there are no toxins or hazardous items accessible during today's inspection.
The licensees CPR and First Aid certificate is current and expires 3/19/24. Both licensee's received mandated reporter training certificates on 04/16/22. Both licensees have received the required provider immunization's. Per licensee, there are no firearms in the home. The licensee conducts and documents fire and disaster drills twice a year with the last one conducted and documented on 04/20/23. The home has a fully charged 3A40BC fire extinguisher, working smoke detector, working carbon monoxide detector, and working telephone. There is a screened fireplace in the dining room and a wall heater which is screened to prevent access by children. Licensees are documenting safe sleep checks during nap time.
