25 | On 12/16/2021 at 9:30am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jaylena Miller, met with licensee Hamina Rahimi for an UNANNOUNCED ANNUAL REQUIRED INSPECTION. Present for the inspection were licensees fingerprint cleared and associated assistant and 5 daycare children, and the licensee is within ratio and capacity compliance today. Upon arrival LPA provided licensee a copy of form LIC 126. The home was toured to conduct a Health and Safety Inspection. The facility currently operates Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm due to COVID-19.
The home is a two-story house with 5 bedrooms including master bedroom with master bathroom and mini master with bathroom, 2 additional bathrooms, loft, living room, family room, kitchen, dining room, laundry room and garage. The second floor consists of the master bedroom and bathroom, and 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and loft. The first floor consists of the family room, dining room, living room, kitchen, laundry room, 1 bathroom, 1 bedroom and garage. LPA observed the home to be neat and clean with central heating and ventilation for safety and comfort.
The OFF-LIMIT AREAS are all bedrooms (upstairs/downstairs), laundry room, and garage and will be inaccessible to children by locked doors, safety gates and visual supervision.
The ON-LIMIT AREAS are the family room, dining room, living room, kitchen, loft and both additional bathrooms. The designated isolation area will be the bench next to the front door. The backyard will be a designated outdoor play area. The outdoor area has age appropriate toys and furnishings that LPA observed to be clean and free from defects and dangerous conditions.
All hazardous materials and toxins are kept out of reach from children and are not accessible. The home has a fully charged fire extinguisher 2A-10-BC, working smoke detector, carbon monoxide, telephone and fully stocked first aid kit. There is an inflatable hot tub in the garage however it is inaccessible to children as it is stored in the garage. Per licensee, there are no firearms on the premises.
