25 | On 3/22/2022 at 11:42am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Morgan Pringle met with Licensee Sha Song for an Unannounced Annual Inspection. Present during the inspection was the Licensee, her fingerprint cleared mother Qinqin Zhao, who is her helper, three (3) infants and nine (9) preschool age children. Licensee’s home was toured for a health and safety inspection. The facility operates 8:00am – 6:00pm, Monday - Friday.
ON LIMITS AREA: Living Room, Dining Area, Kitchen, Two (2) Bedrooms, Bathroom and Backyard
OFF LIMITS AREA: Master Bedroom and Bathroom and Garage
ISOLATION AREA: Last Bedroom on the left
The facility is a single-story home owned by the Licensee. The inside and outside of the home is observed to be neat, clean with ample age appropriate materials for the children. All toxins, cleaning products, medications, and hazardous materials were observed to be in inaccessible areas. Licensee has stated that there are no firearms and no pets in the home.
The home has two (2) fully charged 3A40BC fire extinguishers located under the kitchen sink and one (1) in the closet next to the kitchen. One (1) working carbon monoxide detector is located by the front door and there is a working smoke detector by the front door and in all three (3) bedrooms. There is a heater/air conditioner on the wall above the kitchen island for proper heat and ventilation. It is placed just under the ceiling making it inaccessible to the children in care. LPA did not observe any bodies of water in or around the home.
The Licensee’s Health and Safety training has been completed. Pediatric CPR and First Aid training is complete and expires 3/27/2023. Licensee’s Mandated Reporter is complete and expires 6/25/2023. All required forms are posted and visible for public view by the front door. Fire and disaster drill log is complete. Last drill was logged is 12/2/2022. LPA obtained the children’s files and facility roster. All files were complete.
