25 | A Case Management Visit was conducted on this date 6/13/2022 by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Melanie Otsuji. LPA met with Licensee, Shy Mudakavi. The center has applied to add a Toddler Option (18 months - 36 months) to their license as well as requesting a CAPACITY INCREASE from 79 to 127. The center is requesting for up to 48 toddlers in the toddler-option program. A health and safety inspection was conducted inside and outside. The center also has a Heritage school on-site. Heritage school arrives at 12pm While present Heritage school utilizes the upstairs classrooms which preschool children do not have access to. The preschool program consists of 4 rooms. 2 Preschool classrooms are located in the 32462 Alvarado Blvd building. The 2 Toddler-Option classrooms are located in the 32464 Alvarado Blvd building. Both toddler option classrooms are divided in half thus being able to each house 2 groups of 12 toddlers each to accommodate the entire 48 toddlers. Hours of operation are from 8am-6pm, Monday through Friday. The classrooms were measured and the measurements are as follows:
INDOORS: 4402.01 square feet = 126 children
OUTDOORS: 4467.11 square feet = 60 children
Yard waiver to be posted. First aid supplies are available in the center. Facility has a functioning carbon monoxide detector. The preschool with a toddler-option program has 9 sinks and 10 toilets available. Each building has their own separate staff bathroom. Isolation room for sick children will be the office and staff bathroom.
This facility plans to provide Incidental Medical Services – IMS.
