13 | On 3/7/23 at 9:15am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) B. Plumboy met with Director Deepa Tarunkumar for the purpose of an UNANNOUNCED COMPLAINT INSPECTION. Present for this inspection was 46 preschool age children and 9 staff.
The allegations that the children are left in soiled diapers for an extended period of time, passageways are not kept free of obstructions, and staff do not provide proper supervision to children in care has been SUBSTANTIATED. Based on LPAs observations, interviews, and record reviews, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore the above allegations are found to be SUBSTANTIATED. Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, Sections 101238(c), 101229(a), and 101223(a)(2) are being cited on the attached LIC. 9099D. LIC 9224 was issued and discussed.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
Appeal Rights were given and discussed. An exit interview was conducted. |
