Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Paul Petersen conducted an annual random site inspection for this facility at 1:50 PM. LPA met with director, Solange Barboza and with Executive Director, Sylvia Piedrasanta who also assisted with a tour of the facility. Present during this inspection were 44 preschool age children in care and eight additional teaching staff. All eight teaching staff are qualified teachers. The facility is within ratio and capacity and children are being directly supervised. All adults present are background cleared and associated to this facility.

LPAs toured all areas licensed for children's use for a health and safety inspection. There are five spaces for four classrooms/pods licensed for use by children and two bathrooms. Classrooms have age-appropriate furnishings, equipment and play items which are free of broken or sharp pieces. There is a centralized fire alarm and sprinkler system which per administrator was last inspected by fire dept in November. There are several working carbon monoxide detectors present and multiple fully charged fire extinguishers. The facility is clean and organized. Floors are free of hazardous conditions and counters/surfaces are free of toxins. Hazardous items/Cleaning supplies are stored inaccessible to children. Bathrooms have age appropriate toilets and faucets in working condition.

Water is available in doors and outdoors via water pitchers/jugs and cups. The facility provides snacks and children bring their own lunch. There are menus posted. There is napping equipment (cots) for children and children's napping linens/bedding are stored separate for individual child use and laundered at least weekly.
