25 | On 07/20/20 at 12:20pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Briana Plumboy conducted an announced Case Management Inspection via Facetime with Licensee Shaorong Ma. Present for the inspection was licensee's son Ming Huo who is assisting the licensee with translation and the inspection. Currently, the licensee resides in the home alone. The home was virtually toured with the licensee to conduct a health and safety inspection. Hours of operation for day care are Monday through Friday, 8:00am until 6:00pm.
On Limits for day-care children are the living room, dining room, and family room which have been converted into children playrooms, single bedroom located on the left side of the hallway, and the hallway bathroom. Off Limits areas where day-care will not be permitted: master bedroom, master bathroom, kitchen, all closets, and garage. There is a large children play structure with a slide, and a large size and a Multi Spring Teeter Totter located inside the backyard. The areas around and under outside play equipment has cushioned material that absorbs falls.
The home is one level, which consists of master bedroom with a master bathroom, second bedroom, hallway bathroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, attached garage. The isolation area will be the first single bedroom located on the left side of the hallway. There is a 3A40BC fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide detector, pull down fire alarm, and smoke detector which meet State Fire Marshall standards during today's inspection.
Per licensee, there are no firearms in the home. There are no pets in the home. All required licensing documents are posted and visible for public review. The licensee's Pediatric CPR/First Aid certificate is current and expires 11/2020. Licensee's mandated reporter training was completed on 08/18/18. Licensee is in compliance with the immunization law. See 809-C for continuance |
