**VISIT CONDUCTED VIRTUALLY VIA ZOOM DUE TO COVID-19 PANDEMIC**

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Melanie Otsuji met virtually with Licensee Janani Krishnakumaar for the purpose of an announced Change in Ownership Pre-Licensing inspection. Also present during the visit was the Licensee Krishnakumaar Ravichandran and Director Neeti Ghosh. The applicant has submitted an application for an infant license. A health and safety inspection was conducted inside and outside. The infant program will operate in 1 classroom, Monday to Friday from 7:00AM-7:00PM. The measurements are as follows:

INDOORS: 764.96 square feet = 22 children
OUTDOORS: 3673.53 square feet = 48 children

All classrooms are equipped with varied age appropriate materials and equipment. There is a separate crib area with up to 3 cribs for infants. The diaper changing counter is within arms reach of a sink. There are 2 sinks available for children. The office and staff bathroom will serve as isolation area for ill children. The yard is fenced in all around and all climbing structures are cushioned with turf. Building overhang provide sufficient shade in the play yard. The infant program will be sharing the yard with the preschool program. A waiver request will be submitted requesting for the shared use of the yard and a schedule must be attached to ensure children from both programs will never co-mingle. Snacks are provided to older infants; younger infants' families provide lunches.

This facility plans to provide Individual Medical Services – IMS. A Plan of Operation that includes IMS must be submitted to the Department. Electronic sign in/out sheet is being used at the center.
Neeti Ghosh is a fully-qualified infant director and has completed 16 hours of health and safety training including pediatric CPR and First Aid. There is a working telephone on site. The center has obtained an approved fire safety inspection on 11/18/2020 for 82 children.

Zero Tolerance policies were explained. The center was found to be clean, safe, sanitary, and in good repair. A provisional license for 22 infants and 60 preschoolers is recommended effective today, 1/6/2021. A standard license will be issued once requested information is received.
