25 | On 9/8/2022 at 9:55am, a Required-1 Year inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Laura Chavez. At 10:25am the home was toured inside and outside. The licensee and assistant were supervising 12 children, and operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements. The facility’s operating hours are 9am-12pm, Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. The floor plan submitted by the licensee was reviewed. The preschool room bathroom near the family room are accessible to children in care. The remaining home is off-limits to children. The children use the fenced in play area located to the left of the home. An in-ground pool with a motorized pool cover is in the process of being installed in the backyard. A temporary mesh fence surrounds the pool until the pool cover is fully installed. Alarms have been installed on the french doors leading from the family room into the pool area.
Ten children's records were reviewed at 10:35am.
There are currently two adults living in the home. The Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
