director stated no weapons are stored on site and none were observed. During today's inspection, LPA observed at 9:30 AM staffing ratios were being met and there were 46 children being supervised by 7 teachers/aides during indoor and outdoor play time. The facility was operating within the licensed capacity. At least one staff member present during the visit (S1) possessed current CPR and First Aid certifications and expire on 1/2020. An emergency drill was conducted within the past six months on 3/7/19. There is a current working carbon monoxide detector and charged fire extinguisher in the facility. Children nap on individual cots; bedding is stored separately and laundered weekly. Ten children’s records were reviewed at 11:15 AM, and contained identification forms with authorized representative information, as well as medical assessments. Nine staff records were reviewed at 11:30 AM, and contained health screening forms. The sign in/out procedure was reviewed and in compliance. This facility is providing Incidental Medical Services (IMS) to children. The Department’s IMS policy was discussed with the Director, Stephanie Mock. LPA reviewed storage of medication and equipment/supplies, and reviewed children’s, personnel, and administrative records.
