25 | On 10/27/22 at 1:50pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Snow, Helton & Deputy Gaines made a case management inspection and met with Estela Valencia. The inspection was made in response to water lead testing results received from the California State Water Resource Control Board. The test results showed that the following faucets tested above the allowable level (5.5 ppb or greater) of lead in the water:
Faucet D tested at 6.7ppb for lead. This is a sink used for stacking dishes; it has never been used for drinking or cooking. It has been made inaccessible by a sign and staff is planning to turn off the faucet permanently within 2 weeks.
Children in care are receiving drinking water from the kitchen sink with water bottles brought from home.
The following deficiency is being cited (see LIC 809D). A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
