25 | On 4/4/2022 at 1:55pm, a Required-1 Year inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Laura Chavez. At 2:05pm the home was toured inside and outside. The licensee was supervising three children, and operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements. The facility’s operating hours are 5:30pm-6:00pm, Monday–Friday. The floor plan submitted by the licensee was reviewed and verified. The off-limits areas of the home are the bedrooms, living-room and kitchen, and were made inaccessible by a baby gate. The children use the backyard as the outdoor play area and it is fully fenced. There is an in ground pool in the back yard. The pool is fully fenced with a wrought iron fence.
Five children's records were reviewed at 2:20pm. One staff record was reviewed at 2:40pm. There are currently three adults living in the home. The Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
