25 | On 7/13/2022 at 11:45am, a Required-1 Year inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Laura Chavez. At 11:50am the home was toured inside and outside. The licensee and assistant were supervising seven children, and operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements. The facility’s operating hours are 5am-6pm, Monday–Friday. The floor plan submitted by the licensee was reviewed and verified. Children have access access to the entire home. The children use the front and back yard as the outdoor play areas. The backyard is fully fenced. The front yard is partially fenced. The licensee understands that children require visual supervision should the children play in the front yard. There is an above ground pool in the back yard. A pool cover has been installed to prevent children from accessing the pool. The ladder has been made inaccessible. Seven children's records were reviewed at 12:10pm. There are currently three adults living in the home. The Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
