25 | On 6/9/23 at 2:35PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPAs) Laura Chavez and Julie Gifford made a case management inspection and met with Head Teacher Yesenia Estrada. The inspection was made in response to water lead testing results received from the California State Water Resource Control Board. The test results showed that the following faucets tested above the allowable level (5.5 ppb or greater) of lead in the water:
Sink A30 tested at 7.420 ppb
A sign has been placed over the sink indicating "This Sink Is To Be Used For Hand Washing Only". Notifications were provided to staff and parents.
The following deficiency is being cited (see LIC 809D). 101700.3(b)(1) California Lead Action Level at Child Care Centers
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
