25 | On 2/18/2022 at 12:40pm, a Required-1 Year inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Laura Chavez. At 12:50pm the home was toured inside and outside. The licensee and assistant were supervising 11 children, and operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements. The facility’s operating hours are 7:00am-5:30pm, Monday–Friday. The floor plan submitted by the licensee was reviewed and verified. The off-limits areas of the home are all the master bedroom/bathroom, bedrooms #3 and #4, laundry room, and garage and were made inaccessible by locks and doorknob covers. The children use the back yard as the outdoor play area and it is fully fenced. There is in ground pool in the back yard. The pool is fully fenced with mesh pool fencing.
Eight children's records were reviewed at 1:55pm. One staff record was reviewed at 1:25pm.
There are currently two adults living in the home. The Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
