25 | 8:25am- Licensing Program Analyst Tasha Alexander met with licensees Marian and Michael Bogni for an unannounced ANNUAL/RANDOM inspection. Present for the inspection were licensees, 9 children in care consisting of 2 infants and 7 preschoolers. LPA toured the facility and back yard for a health and safety inspection. The children's files were reviewed and are complete. The home is equipped with a fully charged 3A40BC fire extinguisher, working smoke detector, and working carbon monoxide detector. There is a working telephone in the home, no change in phone number. Per licensee there are no fire arms on the premises. There is a hot tub located in the backyard in a fenced off area that has a cover that can withstand the weight of an adult and has locks on all four sides.. All poisons, cleaning solutions and medications are inaccessible to children. Licensee Marian Bogni has current CPR and 1st Aid training which expires 5/2024 respectively. The off limits areas are the master bedroom/bath, hall bathroom and right side of the backyard that has been fenced off. These areas will be inaccessible to children by closed and/or locked doors,and visual supervision. Licensee was also informed of the licensing web address (www.ccld.ca.gov) for downloading child care forms and (www.myccl.com) to register to receive child care updates.
Licensee [or facility representative] was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. |
