25 | On 07/06/22, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Melissa Guirit conducted an unannounced required annual inspection. LPA met with Director, Anna Gonzales. LPA explained the purpose of today's inspection. Per Director, there are no school-age children enrolled and has not had any enrolled for at least 3 years. LPA discussed with Director about the program going inactive as an option. A tour of the facility was conducted with Director for a Health and Safety inspection.
The designated room that would be utilized for the school-age children is being used by T-K students that are currently enrolled. Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, and other items that are dangerous to the health and safety of children were stored in places inaccessible to them. Furniture and equipment were age appropriate and in good condition, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts. Restrooms for children were observed to be in safe, sanitary, and functioning condition. Floors were clean and free from tripping hazard. Foods and beverages were stored safely. Food storage area were clean, free of litter, rubbish, and rodents/vermin. Trash cans for solid waste had tight-fitting covers and were in good repair. LPA observed a working Fire extinguisher, Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detectors. Outdoor play area appears to be in good condition and free from hazards.
No files were reviewed to no enrollment of school-age children.
