LPA met with facility director, Meg Pitts, and toured all areas utilized by children in care (the music room, the mud room, the clay room, children's bathrooms and the outdoor play space) for a health and safety inspection. This facility is a parent coop for preschool age children. There were also 10 preschool age children present along with five parents workers/volunteers. The facility is within ratio and capacity.

Furnishings and equipment are age appropriate and in good repair. There are no toxins or hazardous items observed to be accessible to children in care. Surfaces, including counter tops, are free of toxins and hazardous conditions.

The most recent fire department inspection was in 12/18. There is a fully charged fire extinguisher and working carbon monoxide detector present. There are multiple smoke detectors.

Children attend on a part-time or full-time schedule with hours of operation 8:45 AM to 12:00 PM and 12:15 PM to 3:30 PM, Mon-Fri. The facility provides snacks and full time children bring their own lunches. There is a snack menu posted for review. Food prep area appears free of pests. Drinking water is observed to be available for children in care indoors via water pitchers and cups and out doors via a water fountain.
