On Thursday, December 8, 2022, at 9:43 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Caroline Colson met with Julie Cruel, Lead Teacher, for an unannounced complaint investigation. Documentation was received. Interviews were conducted. There are 18 preschool children with 3 teachers. Interviews revealed that some parents don't know if their children are being spoken to an inappropriate manner. Other parents acknowledged that no staff member yells at children. Based on the interviews and information obtained throughout the investigation, the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED which means although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur. Exit interview was conducted and Appeal Rights were given. A notice of Site Visit was issued and must be posted for 30 days.

On Thursday, December 8, 2022, at 9:43 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Caroline Colson met with Julie Cruel, Lead Teacher, for an unannounced complaint investigation. Documentation was received. Interviews were conducted. There are 18 preschool children with 3 teachers. Documentation was received. Interviews were conducted. Interviews revealed that most parents believe their children are being spoken to in an appropriate manner. One parent acknowledges that the staff behavior has improved because the classroom has additional support. Based on the interviews and information obtained throughout the investigation, the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED which means although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur. Exit interview was conducted and Appeal rights were given. A notice of Site Visit was issued and must be posted for 30 days.
