25 | On June 27, 2022 at 9:00am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Julia Placencia arrived unannounced for a Required-1 Year inspection. LPA met with director Amanda Gomez. This program is part of a combination center which includes infant and preschool components. The facility was toured for a health and safety inspection.
There were no children present as the school age program is currently not operating and has not since the summer of 2021.
LPA did a walk through of the unused school age program and observed the room to be clean and orderly. The toilets and sinks were in operable condition. The kitchen/food preparation area which is shared with the preschool program appear to be clean and free of evidence of rodents. There are no pools or similar bodies of water at this facility. Climbing equipment is properly anchored to the ground with adequate and appropriate cushioning material to absorb falls. There is a shaded area provided for the children. Fire extinguishers, carbon monoxide and smoke detectors meet State Fire Marshall standards.
There were no deficiencies cited today. Please see preschool annual inspection report for citation in shared playground.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with licensee Amanda Gomez.
