A Random/Annual site inspection was conducted by LPA Susan Neeson. Met with Greta Davis, the new Director since May 2019. The visit began at 8 AM. There are 7 school age children present.. All staff associated with the facility are fingerprint clear.

The school age classroom and yard were inspected. Ratios were correct during visit. There are sufficient toys and equipment for children in care. Most equipment is observed to be in good condition. The most recent 2 fire drills were held on July 8, 2019. Bathrooms are clean and require appropriate toilet paper, soap and paper towels. Menus are posted. According to Greta Davis, there are no children enrolled currently receiving prescribed or over the counter medication. Fire extinguisher, smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector were working.

Licensee is reminded that ALL assistants, volunteer and frequent visitors that are 18 years of age or older must be fingerprint cleared and associated to this facility prior to being in the presence of children in care or an immediate civil penalty will be assessed from $100 to $3000 per person, per incident. Licensee was reminded of the responsibility as a mandated reporter. All forms can be downloaded at www.ccld.ca.gov and for day care updates visit www.myccl.gov

Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. For IMS information see Evaluator Manual - Regulation Interpretations and Procedures for Child Care Centers Sections 101173 and 101226. When any IMS is provided, an updated Plan of Operation that includes IMS must be submitted to the Department.
