25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Redmond, arrived at the facility on 02/14/20 at 9:45 AM, to conduct a health and safety inspection. The purpose of the inspection is to ensure the facility is in compliance with Title 22, CCR and Health and Safety Code laws and regulations for Child Care Centers. During the inspection, LPA met with JENNIFER KIRBY, Site Supervisor AND AVERYL DEVERA, SITE SUPERVISOR. During the inspection, LPA made the following observations:
Capacity/Staffing: The Child Care Center is a combination center with multiple classes, divided according to the children’s ages. Classrooms No. 2, 3, 4 5 and 6 are on this license.
On this date, LPA counted the number of teachers and children in each classroom. Based on LPA observation, the facility is compliant with teacher to child ratio requirements and maximum capacity levels.
Required Postings: At the entrance to the facility are the required postings: Facility License, Emergency Disaster Plan, Notification of Parent's Rights, Earthquake Preparedness Checklist. If You See Something, Say Something.
Parents sign in: The facility utilizes a computerized daily sign in sheet process for parents to sign in their children.
Classroom: Furniture and equipment age appropriate and in good repair. Adequate heating, lighting and ventilation. There is separate storage for children’s belongings. There are cots available to each child. Children’s bedding is laundered by the facility every week or more frequently if needed. The center provides meals, which are prepared off site, a menu is posted. |
