25 | 9:00AM-Licensing Program Analyst Tasha Alexander met with licensee Kimberly Mcguder for an unannounced 1 YEAR/REQUIRED inspection. Present for today's inspection is licensee, and 3 preschool age children in care. LPA toured the facility and backyard for a health and safety inspection. The children's files were reviewed.. The home is equipped with a fully charged 2A10BC fire extinguisher, working smoke alarm and working carbon monoxide detector. Both were tested today. There is a working telephone in the home, no change in number, but licensee provided her cell phone number as the best way of contact . There are no firearms located on the premises per licensee. There is a hot tub located in the back yard that has a hard top and locks on all four side which meets California State Fire Marshall Standards. All poisons, cleaning solutions and medications are inaccessible to children in care and are located in the laundry room. Licensee has current CPR and 1st Aid training card which expires 4/2024 respectively. The off limits areas are the entire upstairs and laundry room. Licensee was also informed of the licensing web address (www.ccld.ca.gov) for downloading child care forms and (www.myccl.com) to register to receive child care updates.
Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. |
