The outdoor play area is fully fenced with age appropriate play equipment. There is one piece of high climbing equipment/slides which is securely anchored and has cushioning material (sand) under and around the structure. The large structure is free of observed broken or sharp pieces. Other play structures are toddler/young child age appropriate and are free of broken/sharp pieces. Play structures are free of broken/sharp pieces or other hazards. There is shaded play area available outdoors. There are no pools or other accessible bodies of water.
A review of the facility, staff and children's records was conducted including staff education/qualifications, background clearances, staff immunization records, staff completion of mandatory reporter training, children's immunization records, parent's rights forms and admissions agreements. All staff present have current CPR/First Aid certification. Sign in, sign out records were reviewed and are accurate. There is an up to date facility roster present.
This facility provides Incidental Medical Services-IMS. LPA reviewed storage of medication and equipment/supplies, and reviewed children's, personnel, and administrative records. There were no deficiencies cited during this inspection. An exit interview was conducted with facility director. A notice of site visit was printed and is to remain posted for a period of 30 days and a copy of the appeal rights were provided. This report is to be available in the facility records for a period of three years from today's date. |
