Personal Rights - Licensee yelled at day-care child.

On 11/04/2022 at 9:30 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Christina Watts conducted an unannounced Subsequent Complaint Investigation at Nazreen Raza large family child care home. LPA met with licensee and explained the purpose of today’s inspection. During today's inspection, there were 4 children in care (2 school age and 2 infants) The finding for the above allegation was delivered during the inspection. During the course of the investigation completed a physical plant inspection, reviewed facility records and conducted interviews. Based on the interviews and information obtained throughout the investigation, it was determined that licensee has a loud voice that can be misconstrued as yelling however licensee does not yell at the children. Therefore, the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED which means although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur. No Deficiency has been cited for this allegation. Exit interview conducted with license, Nazreen Raza. Appeal rights were provided.

A NOTICE OF SITE VISIT WAS ISSUED AND MUST BE POSTED FOR 30 CONSECUTIVE DAYS.

On 11/04/2022 at 9:30 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Christina Watts conducted an unannounced Subsequent Complaint Investigation at Nazreen Raza large family child care home. LPA met with licensee and explained the purpose of today’s inspection. During today's inspection, there were 4 children in care (2 school age and 2 infants).The finding for the above allegation was delivered during the inspection. During the course of the investigation completed a physical plant inspection, reviewed facility records and conducted interviews. Based on the interviews and information obtained throughout the investigation, it was determined that although licensee may have confiscated the pacificer, licensee confiscated C1 pacificer so C1 can communicate and eat and the child's personal rights were not violated. Therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED which means although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur. No Deficiency has been cited for this allegation. Exit interview conducted with licensee, Nazreen Raza. Appeal rights were provided.
