Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Cherie Acosta conducted an unannounced Annual Required inspection. There were no children present during the inspection today. The facility has early closure every other Wednesday. The facility is operating as a toddler option. Facility cares for children between the ages of 18 - 36 months. There are currently 4 children enrolled of which all are over 24 months of age.

The indoor and outdoor activity space for the infant program is physically separate from the preschool component. Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, poisons and other items that are dangerous to children were inaccessible during the visit. The toilets and sinks were observed to be in operable condition. The floors are free of tripping hazards. The kitchen/food preparation and storage areas were observed to be clean. Food is protected against contamination. All storage containers for solid waste have tight-fitting covers that are in good repair. Drinking water is available both indoors and outdoors. Menus are posted and visible for parents to review. Outdoor activity space was observed to be free of hazards. Climbing equipment is properly anchored to the ground with adequate and appropriate cushioning material to absorb falls.

LPA verified staff have current CPR/First aid training.

Staff and children’s files were reviewed. Teacher present today meets the qualification requirements.
