On June 4, 2019 at approximately 11:10am, Licensing Program Analyst Chandra Charles, conducted an Unannounced Case Management site inspection and met with Director Lisa Deluca. The Center has submitted an application for an increase in capacity from 60 children to 75 school age children.
This before and after school program is located on the campus of Marsh Creek Elementary school in the City of Brentwood, CA. The hours of operation is 6:30am to 6:30pm, Monday through Friday.

The Center operates in a large portable classroom. LPA conducted a Health & Safety Inspection. CLASSROOM: Furniture & Equipment was age and sized appropriate. The Heating and lighting is adequate. There is drinking water readily available in the classroom. There are adequate storage cubbies for children's belongings. RESTROOMS: There are two bathrooms (two toilets, and two bathroom sinks all operational) The facility is safe, sanitary and in good repair. There is a separate staff restroom.

The kitchen area is accessible to children. Therefore, 100% visual supervision is to be done by all staff. Menus are posted. Breakfast, and snacks are provided and prepared on site. There is adequate variety and quantity of foods to meet the children's needs. This facility utilizes the manual sign in and out procedures. Facility has a functioning carbon monoxide detector, and fully charged fire extinguisher.

The following is the total overall measurement:

OUTDOORS: N/A square feet = Exempt status

Outside playground equipment is maintain by the Brentwood Unified school district. Drinking water is readily available outside. The children do not utilize the elementary school outside restrooms.

Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. For IMS information see Evaluator Manual - Regulation Interpretations and Procedures for Child Care Centers Sections 101173 and 101226. When any IMS is provided, an updated Plan of Operation that includes IMS must be submitted to the Department. The Center has obtained an approved fire safety inspection from the ECC Fire Protection Fire Department on 05/24/2019. Which has granted the clearance for 75 school children to be on the premises. All licensing required documents are posted.

Notice of Site Visit form was provided and posted.

There were no deficiencies cited during this visit. A license for 75 school age children will be effective today, June 4, 2019
