On 6/14/2023 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) met with Director (Priya Kothari) for a Required 1-Year Inspection. Present for this inspection are the Director, 1 fingerprint cleared and associated staff member (Narayani Aurangabadkar, and (7) school age children in care. The facility operates Monday - Friday 08:00AM-6:00PM. The center is located up the hill of Blackhawk Plaza on the lower level of Danville Pediatric Dentistry/Orthodontics, Suite 150.


The center has a total of 4 classrooms. The preschool classroom is equipped with varied age appropriate materials and equipment. There are 3 toilets and 4 sinks available for children. The staff has a separate bathroom. The office will serve as isolation area for sick children (the one with the piano). This is a half day program, thus no cots/mats are needed for nap time. First aid supplies are available in . There is each classroom. There are (2) fully charged fire extinguisher (3A40BC), carbon monoxide detector and working phone number. There is sign in/out sheet in the lobby for parent's full signature.



CLASSROOMS: There are adequate play and learning materials available. Furniture and equipment is age appropriate and in good repair. There is adequate heating, lighting and ventilation. Drinking water is available inside and outside the center. BATHROOMS AND TOILETING AREAS: Toilets and faucets work properly. The children are able to reach the sink and toilets. Toilet paper, soap, and paper towels are all available to the children. Adequate lighting is provided in the bathroom. The school provides cold and hot water to the children. INSPECTION OF FOOD SERVICE AREA: The child typically brings food from home. The school provides emergency snacks–if a child finished there food from home (crackers, juice boxes, etc). No play structure outside

HEALTH RELATED SERVICES: The director does not store any medications at the facility. The first aid kit is complete; and is available in every classroom. This facility has Incidental Medical Services – IMS. (There are currently no students that need IMS).


RECORDS: Staff members and children's files were reviewed. Required forms were posted in a public accessible area.


CPR and First Aid certificates are current for at least one person on site and will expire on October 2023 (Priya Kothari).


The last fire drill was conducted June 7,2023. A child care roster and personnel report was obtained.




Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. This facility does not provides IMS to children in care at this time.
