25 | A Case Management Visit was conducted on this date by 8/16/19 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Mayla Mendoza and Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Wynn Norona. LPA and LPM met with Education Manager, Luz Arrizon and Administrative Manager Vanessa Ascencio. The center is a Title V preschool. The center has submitted an application for an increase in capacity from 101 to 145 children. Rooms 7 and 8 are being added to the center license. The center will now be operating in 8 classrooms (Rooms 1-8). Hours of operation are from 8:00am-4:00pm, Monday through Friday. A health and safety inspection was conducted inside and outside. The following is the total overall measurement:
INDOORS: 5554.19 square feet = 158 children
OUTDOORS: 5165.81 square feet = 69 children
All staff present today have current CPR/FA. Playground equipment is in good condition. Drinking water is available inside and outside by way of water fountains, pitchers and cups, and a dispenser. A yard waiver is being requested to allow no more than 69 children at a time on the play yard. All toilets and handwashing facilities are in safe and sanitary operating conditions. There is a kitchen inaccessible to children. Menus are posted. Breakfast, lunch and snacks are provided and prepared on site. There is adequate variety and quantity of foods to meet the children's needs. Cots are used for napping. Facility has a functioning carbon monoxide detector.
This facility plans to provide Incidental Medical Services – IMS.
