25 | A Case Management Tele-Visit was conducted on this date 9/14/20 by Licensing Program Manager (LPM), Mayla Mendoza. LPM met with center director, Nelly Orantes. No teachers or children were present during today's visit. The center has applied to add a Toddler-Component (8 toddlers) to their license with no increase in the number of children they are currently licensed for. A health and safety inspection was conducted inside and outside. The center is currently licensed in 2 rooms for the Preschool Program. The toddlers will now be in an area in Preschool Room 1. Hours of operation are from 4:00AM-10:00PM, Monday through Friday. The measurements are as follows:
INDOORS: 1816.02 square feet = 52 children
OUTDOORS: 3910.65 square feet = 52 children
There are 4 toilets and 5 sinks available for children. First aid supplies are available in the center. Facility has a functioning carbon monoxide detector.
The center has obtained an approved fire clearance on 7/16/20.
Following local and county orders in response to COVID-19 for child care, mandated reporter and appeal rights, civil penalties, unusual incident reporting and fingerprint requirements were discussed today. Licensee is also being informed of the web address (www.ccld.ca.gov) for downloading child care forms and updates in regards to COVID-19. The director is encouraged to email ChildCareAdvocatesprogram@dss.ca.gov to be included in the Child Care Quarterly Updates distribution list for the most recent PINs (Provider Information Notices). The director is also reminded that mandated reporter training is required for all staff and is to be renewed every 2 years at www.mandatedreporterca.com. Additionally, Director is being reminded of the new Lead Poisoning Training that must be included in the 8 hour Preventative Health course. |
