On 02/16/2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Melissa Guirit conducted an in-person case management/increase in capacity inspection. Present during today's inspection were Director Marnie Chapa and Licensee, Li Hong. There were 14 children and 3 teachers present during today's inspection. A tour of the facility was conducted to ensure the Health and Safety of children in care. Hours of operation for day care are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 6:00pm.

Community Care Licensing (CCL) has received an approved fire clearance for 18 preschoolers and 18 toddlers on 02/07/2022 by San Ramon Valley Fire.

A new room has been added to the facility.LPA measured the additional room that was added. All previous rooms have remained the same. LPA completed the following measurements:
INDOORS: 407.24 square feet = 11 children

Room 111 and 112 will have 18 toddlers with a room divider. Room 108 will have 11 preschoolers. Room 109 will have 7 preschoolers.

LPA observed that the classrooms has sufficient lighting and appears to be clean and in good condition. LPA observed an ample supply of age appropriate activities, equipment and furniture. The facility has 3 sinks and 3 toilets. The classroom has a fully charged 3A40BC fire extinguisher, working carbon monoxide and smoke detector, and first aid supplies. There is a working telephone at the center. LPA did not observe any hazardous items that would be accessible to children. Children bring their own snacks and lunch, and children will use personal water bottles with access to drinking water indoors and outdoors. The staff office will be used for ill children as the isolation area.

A license for 18 preschoolers and 18 toddlers shall be effective today, 02/16/2022. The new additional room can be used when the facility is ready. There are no deficiencies being cited today. A Notice of Site inspection was provided to director Marnie Chapa, and an exit interview was conducted.
