25 | On Thursday, March 3, 22, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Caroline Colson met with Lorie Harnden for an announced change of location prelicensing and technical assistance inspection at 9:58 AM. There are no day care children present. The home was toured to conduct a health and safety inspection. Mrs. Harnden was informed of the civil penalty assessments of up to $500 per adult during the initial inspection for not having cleared fingerprints on file (if needed) before contact with the day care children.
The home is a one story home. The home consist of two bedrooms, living room, kitchen with an dinning room, enclosed porch, a hallway closet, outside laundry room, one bathroom located in the home, one half bathroom located in the converted barn which is now an art studio, a chicken coup, fenced backyard, one fenced side yard and one unfenced side yard. Lorie will use her outdoor play space for outdoor play. The second bedroom and chicken coup are the Off Limits Areas. There is 3A40BC fire extinguisher, a working combination smoke and carbon monoxide detector. She has heating for the home. Mrs. Harnden states that there are no firearms in the home. Lorie provided Control of Property for the home. There are toys available for the children. Her CPR and First Aid certificates are current and expire on June 19, 2023. The isolation area will be the first bedroom. There are no pets. Fire Clearance was received on February 24, 2022.
The following items need to be completed by April 3, 2022:
1. Applicant needs to purchase 3 plastic or wood registers for the home.
2. Applicant needs remove all debris from the back yard and cover the bench with appropriate cushioning.
3. Applicant will secure 4 kitchen drawers.
