13 | On 11/18/21, at 12:15 PM, a closing complaint investigation visit was made to the facility by LPA Lynch. It has been alleged parents are not allowed to visit daycare children due to covid. LPA met with the Center Director, conducted an interview, and discussed the allegation. Center Director stated staff do allow parents to enter the center with covid precautions such as masks, hand sanitation, temperature taking, and covid screening questions, and denied the allegation. Five additional current/former staff, several of who are also parents, and five children were interviewed on 09/29/21, 10/14/21, 10/22/21, and 11/04/21 during the investigation, and there were conflicting disclosures. LPA also observed a parent was allowed entry into the facility at an early pickup time during the investigation, and also during the closing visit. Based on interviews and observations, LPA did not find a preponderance of evidence to corroborate the allegation. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred, and the finding is unsubstantiated. An exit interview was conducted, and appeal rights were provided. |
