13 | On 10/26/2022 at approximately 1:30pm, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Arianna Manabat and Salene Mayberry met with Director Veronica Galvan on October 26th, 2022 for the purposes of delivering a complaint finding for the allegations mentioned above. LPAs observed 42 children in care being supervised by 4 staff.
It was alleged that the facility is operating out of ratio and unqualified staff are providing care and supervision. Through observations, record review, and interviews with the Director, staff members, and the reporting party (RP), LPA Manabat found that the facility has adequetly staffed the facility with the appropriate amount of fully qualified staff to meet ratio requirements.
Through record review, LPA Manabat has obtained staff scheduling which indicated that there are appropriate staffing for each room.Based on the information obtained, LPA Manabat was not able to determine that the above allegations have occured. Therefore, the allegation is determined to be UNSUBSTANTIATED, meaning that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove it. An exit interview was conducted. Notice of site visit and appeal rights were also addressed. The Notice of site visit shall remain posted for 30 days for guardian/parental review. |
