13 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Elvira Sierra met with Licensee, Marian Sheridan to conduct an unannounced complaint inspection for the above complaint allegations. During today’s inspection there were 4 infants, 4 preschool children present being supervised by Licensee. Lecensee's helper came back later during today's inspection.
It was alleged that the facility provide care in off limit areas and that a baby jumper is kept on the daycare area. LPA conducted interviews with complainant, Licensee, parents and staff. During the investigation, LPA conducted unannounced inspections to the facility, and observed that the off limit bedroom doors in the upstairs level were closed and stairs leading to the upstairs level had a gate to prohibit children from going to the upstairs. Parents that were interviewed did not observe care being provided in the off limit area and LPA was given conflicting information regarding a baby jumper being in the day care area.
Based on the information obtained and interviews; Although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegations are unsubstantiated.No Title 22 Deficiencies cited, and Notice of Site Visit posted.
