32 | LPA observed the Licensee to be directly supervising children while transporting. Interview with Licensee revealed that she rarely provides transportation services unless a parent is in need, and if she needs to transport regularly that an assistant is present in the vehicle. Parent interviews did not reveal concerns regarding transportation or being left unattended. LPA did not obtain evidence that would suggest the Licensee left children alone unsupervised in a parked vehicle.
LPA observed the Licensee speaking to children in an appropriate manner with an appropriate tone to children in care. Interviews with the licensee stated she talks to children respectfully in a normal voice, but her tone may reflect a sense of urgency occasionally if a child is in immediate risk of danger or getting hurt and the Licensee is not in close enough proximity to intervene. Parent interviews did not reveal concerns regarding the Licensee speaking inappropriately to children. LPA did not obtain evidence that would suggest that the Licensee speaks inappropriately to children in care.
Based on observation, interviews, and record review, LPA did not obtain pertinent evidence that could prove the alleged violations happened. Although the allegations may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
