13 | Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Michelle Pascual met with director Jill Kime to deliver findings for the above complaint. The complaint alleged that “Unqualified staff is being left alone with daycare children, facility is operating out of ratio, facility did not have running water and staff is not following infant care food services.”
According to the complaint the staff are not qualified to supervise children as they are not fully qualified teachers, and there are too many children to teachers and/or aids. The complaint also alleged the there is no running water nor were the food services plans followed. LPA interviewed multiple parents and staff and found that the facility is following all title 22 regulations. Infants are fed on demand, water is housed in a large jug and taken outside when the children play. Further, sippy cups and milk are available to the infants. The parents indicated that they see two to three teachers at a time with children, which also includes an aid. There are no parent concerns and it was stated that the Site Supervisor is available at all times for any concerns. Based on the information gathered throughout the course of this investigation there was not sufficient enough evidence nor information to support or dismiss the above allegation. Therefore, the findings for the above allegations was determined to be UNSUBSTANTIATED.
An exit interview was conducted in which the report was reviewed and discussed with the licensee
