45On 02/09/23 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Araceli Gibson conducted an unannounced case management inspection. LPA met with Latrina Barbin, Director, Laura Mitchell, Program Manager Early Learning, Laura Gemetti, Principal, and Charlotte Miranda Health and Safety Supervisor for Fresno Unified School District. Purpose of today's inspection is a case management regarding an incident that occurred on 01/13/23 and another related incident on 01/19/23 to review to view the surveillance video footage of the incident.

LPA followed up on information received by Unusual Incident Reports that a child climbed a 6 foot fence and left the facility and a repeat incident climbing two other fences a few days later, Today's case management inspections is to view the surveillance video footage of the initial incident. LPA observed child climbed over the fence in a span of 13 seconds. LPA received an update to the installation of new fencing planned for 02/23/23 and to ensure all necessary safety protocols are in place such as a modified schedule for the child and working toward getting a permanent assistant for the child while in care.

Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, of the California Code of Regulations, No deficiency is being cited: A copy of appeal rights. An exit interview was conducted.

This report shall be made available to the public upon request. LIC 9213 Notice of Site Visit is provided and required to be posted for 30 days.
