25 | On 4/8/2021, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Juvenal Moctezuma & Ginny Badhesha conducted a case management inspection and met with Teacher on assignment, Kim Beckwith. LPA was informed by licensee that a temporary five day change in Preschool classroom #1 will be required due a pipe under the sink breaking and leaving the children without water. Also, during the shutdown, a rodent got into the licensed classroom #1. FUSD Environmental Services is working on catching it. Once it is caught the room will be cleaned and sanitized. Custodians were able to move age appropriate equipment over for the children to the classroom that will be used temporarily which is located right behind the licensed preschool classroom.
This is a Title V program. Facility is located at the Calwa Elementary school site.
During todays inspection, room measurements for the temporary classroom CBET was taken and reviewed with Kim. The approximate measurement is 705 square feet, which will meet the capacity requirement for 20 preschool children. Licensee is utilizing an igloo, disposable cup dispenser with disposable cups. While utilizing the temporary classroom CBET, the children will be utilizing the bathrooms located inside the classroom. Each bathroom has one toilet and one sink; totaling to two toilets and two sinks. There has been no change to the outside play area.
The temporary location is for this week only up from 04/05/2021 to 4/12/2021 only.
Per California Code of Regulations Title 22, Division 12, no deficiency cited during today's visit. Exit interview conducted with Kim Beckwith. A copy of this report need to be placed in facility file for public review. A Notice of Site Visit was posted on parent board.
